Although we didn’t get the chance to share this news back in December, we’re happy to highlight that on 29 November 2025, Recycllux was featured by Climate-KIC in an article titled “Romania start-up lets companies subscribe to ocean cleanups.”
The feature tells the story behind Recycllux’s founding and our data-driven approach to tackling marine plastic pollution – combining AI applied to satellite data, blockchain-based traceability, and a subscription model that enables companies to fund verifiable, end-to-end marine cleanups.
The article also highlights our first validated pilot intervention on Romania’s Black Sea coast, carried out with Techir, which demonstrated how companies can receive fully verified reporting on plastic removed, CO₂-equivalent avoided, and the fate of each waste stream.
As regulatory pressure and demand for verifiable environmental action increase, this recognition reinforces the relevance of our mission: building the technological and operational infrastructure needed to scale marine protection.
