From 1–3 June, Recycllux represented by our co-founder Marilou Suc participated in the “AI for Ocean and Coastal Territories” forum, organised by the Waves of Change Coalition in Biarritz, France.
The event brought together innovators, coastal territories and blue economy stakeholders to explore how artificial intelligence, digital twins and environmental data can support more resilient coastlines. From flood and sea-level-rise modelling to circular economy approaches and ecosystem monitoring, the discussions highlighted an important shift: the challenge is no longer simply to generate more data, but to transform complex information into locally relevant and actionable decisions.
The forum reinforced our belief that effective coastal resilience must combine technology with local knowledge, operational realities and community engagement, and opened promising conversations around future pilots and collaborations.
