Aquaculture Congress 2026

On 15–16 May, Recycllux participated Recycllux participated in the Aquaculture Congress 2026 in Athens, where discussions explored two apparently different, yet closely connected, dimensions of the blue economy: marine litter management and the human ecosystems needed to support long-term sector development.

During the PREVENT Roundtable, Marilou Suc presented Recycllux’s approach to using AI, Earth Observation and blockchain to transform marine litter data into coordinated interventions, measurable impact and scalable local recovery ecosystems. The discussions reinforced a key challenge: although technologies, committed stakeholders and public awareness already exist, many initiatives remain fragmented, reactive and dependent on short-term funding.
