On 17 February, Recycllux participated in the conference “How to Access the Space Industry and Funding”, organized by Xjenza Malta in collaboration with FinanceMalta.
The event highlighted Malta’s growing role in the global space economy, with discussions covering the National Space Strategy, regulatory frameworks, and access to ESA and EU funding instruments.
A key takeaway was the increasing relevance of Earth Observation data beyond traditional space applications, particularly in areas such as ESG reporting, risk assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
For Recycllux, this aligns directly with its core approach: using satellite data and AI to enable measurable, verifiable environmental impact in marine plastic recovery.
The event reinforced the importance of connecting space technologies with real-world applications, positioning Malta as an emerging hub for innovation at the intersection of space, sustainability, and data.
